In September 2025 we were fortunate to visit Mana Pools National Park and spend 10 days camping at Ngweshla Campsite with friends. A memorable experience both with regards to wildlife viewings many of which were extraordinary as well as the conditions - extremely hot at this time of the year with temperatures reaching 45 degrees Celsius. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing both within the woodlands which make up a large part of the park as well as overlooking the Zambezi River.
